Current Projects

New Piece for Solo Timpani

David is currently working on a new piece for virtuoso timpanist David Herbert of the San Francisco Symphony. The piece will be scored for the extended range timpani set up that was originally created for William Kraft’s “Timpani Concerto No. 2”.

Commissioned by John Parks and the Florida State University Percussion Ensemble. Premiered in November 2007 at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Columbus, OH.
